The Stackgrönnan Boat Museum is beautifully situated by the Skellefte River, just a 15-minute drive from the city center. Here, you can explore working boats from the era when boats were essential tools for labor and the most common means of transport. The boat engine exhibition is one of the largest in Sweden, featuring a wide variety of models—from large inboard engines and locally made Örvikare motors to American outboards.
Admission is free, and the museum is open during the summer season.
